Roll Call: PRWA Launches, Foursquare Seeks a PR Director

A merger between two international PR networks --ECP Global Communications and IPAN (International Public Relations Agency Network) -- has resulted in a new group, the PR World Alliance (PRWA). PRWA has 17 members (all independent firms) across 13 countries in North America and Europe with partners across Asia, Africa, and South America. Peter Stanton, CEO of Stanton Communications, is chair of the new organization. Additional info about members and offerings available here. Foursquare is looking for a new PR director to head up business- and tech-focused PR efforts, PRWeek reports. Last month, Foursquare had a gaggle of news, including the exit of its VP of business development, Tristan Walker. M Booth was named its consumer PR firm in February. Doug Hesney has been promoted to VP at Dukas Public Relations, where he'll continue to lead the asset management group and serve as in-house counsel. The promotion also comes with a spot on the Dukas PR executive management committee. Dukas PR specializes in the asset management, tech, and finance industries. The asset management group is one of the firm's fastest growing. Hesney joined the firm in 2007 and took over the group in 2010. It has grown 50 percent since. Loren Waldron has been promoted to VP of business development services at MWW Group. Waldron will continue to manage the new business team across the firm's nine offices. Waldron joined MWW in 2005. Jen Neal has been appointed EVP of marketing at E!. Neal is responsible for all marketing, promos, brand partnerships, and media strategies across all of E!'s platforms. She joined as a consultant in February, and was previously the CMO of BBDO North America. Stephen Carter has been named VP and national director of campaign strategy at Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada. He was most recently the chief of staff for Alison Redford, the Progressive Conservative Association leader in Alberta and has other previous career experience across Canadian politics.
