Porter Novelli has hired Ryan Kuresman as SVP in its Washington, DC, office, leading its public affairs and corporate communications practice. He is reporting to Jennifer Swint, MD of Washington, DC. Kuresman was previously VP and director in the corporate communications and issues management practice of APCO Worldwide. (Release)

Ketchum announced the appointment of Bruce Shu as managing director of Ketchum Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, Shu joins Ketchum today and will report to Jon Higgins, senior partner and CEO, International, for Ketchum.
