Roll Call: MWW, Mass Relevance and Addison Whitney

MWW announced that Jarrod Bernstein has joined the firm’s New York office as senior vice president, corporate affairs. A seasoned expert in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Bernstein joins MWW following senior level posts within the Obama Administration, United States Department of Homeland Security and the Office of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. In his new role at MWW, Bernstein will develop high-level corporate affairs strategy and guide stakeholder relations for clients across many of the firm’s practice areas. Bernstein will report directly to MWW president and CEO Michael W. Kempner. (Release)

Mass Relevance announced the appointment of Jesse Redniss to the newly created position of chief strategy officer. Redniss, an Emmy-nominated entertainment executive, has been setting trends for multi-screen, digital brand building, creative development and marketing for the past 14 years. Redniss previously served as SVP of digital for USA Network, where he pioneered multiplatform storytelling, social TV and cutting-edge gamification to drive unprecedented levels of audience participation and engagement. As CSO at Mass Relevance, he will develop, execute and align the company around strategic initiatives that anticipate client needs and move the industry forward. He will also play a key role in defining and supporting product development, client partnerships and go-to-market strategies as Mass Relevance continues to help brands, agencies and media companies deliver a unified, interactive social experience across all screens and touchpoints. Barbara Gerber joins global branding firm Addison Whitney as managing director for Europe. Her background includes work at Interbrand Health and ghg (Grey Healthcare Group). Most recently, Barbara was senior director of client services Europe with Interbrand Health. At Interbrand, she was responsible for new business and client management in the healthcare space. Barbara is also a founding member of, and served as president for, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Europe. Prior to this, Barbara was ghg’s senior vice president business unit director, Europe and co-founder and managing director with Grey Healthcare Italia srl. (Release)
