Roll Call: MSLGroup, H+K Strategies, Netflix, and More

Renee Wilson, MD of MSLGroup’s New York office and lead on the firm’s P&G business, and Bob Bejan, founder of MSL’s creative studio PBJS, have been appointed to the firm’s global management board, effective February 1. (Both pictured left, top to bottom.) Wilson will now be chief client officer based in New York and Bejan, chief development officer, based in Paris. Wilson is transitioning her MD duties to a new exec that hasn’t yet been named. Jenny Pigott will become CEO of PBJS and Ian Saunders will be president and chief creative officer for PBJS in Chicago, Seattle, and New York.

Netflix CMO Leslie Kilgore has been appointed to the company’s board as a non-executive director. She’s held the CMO role for 12 years. Jessie Becker, previously VP of marketing and an 11-year vet of the company, has been named interim CMO. Jonathan Friedland has been appointed chief comms officer. He joined the company last February from Disney. The company is seeking a new CMO. [via]

In other Hill+Knowlton Strategies news, the company has appointed a new global chief technology officer, Josh Hendler, who’s working out of the D.C. office. He reports to Andrew Bleecker, global director of the firm’s digital practice. Hendler was previously the CTO of Jumo, a company that connects people and causes. He was also previously the director of technology for the Democratic National Committee.

Emanate has hired three new VPs. Trey Ditto was previously an MD at KCSA Strategic Communications where he worked with clients and issues across a number of areas including crisis, tech, and financial. Greg Jawski was previously VP of the financial services and corporate practice at Ogilvy PR. Both Ditto and Jawski will work on the Bank of America business. Ryan Murphy joins from DeVries PR where she was VP of the health and wellness practice.

IPG has acquired Nicole Weber Communications, a German consumer lifestyle agency with offices in Munich and Hamburg. NWC will become part of the GolinHarris network with founder, Nicole Weber, serving as MD. NWC clients have included Henkel Cosmetics and Renault.

WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell is now also a director on the board for Alcoa. [via]
