Roll Call: Incite, DDC Advocacy and NBCUniversal

Jon Jones is joining Incite as chief digital officer.  For the past five years at the digital advertising agency R/GA, Jon has served as the go-to digital strategist for some of the biggest and most impactful brands including Nike, Samsung, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Wal-Mart. Jon has helped these brands change the way they connect with consumers. From creating innovative marketing campaigns and building mobile and services platforms, to exponentially growing social media presences and managing targeted, efficient digital ad campaigns, Jon has been helping some of the biggest brands in the world push the boundaries in both paid and earned media. He will now lead Incite’s digital services from our new office in New York City. (Release)

DDC Advocacy (DDCA) announced James C. Lake as its incoming executive vice president. Lake, a public affairs and advocacy specialist with thirty years of experience, will oversee client development and client relations as DDC Advocacy continues to expand its domestic and international client base and deliver data-driven, technology-enabled advocacy solutions in strategic engagement campaigns worldwide. Lake brings three decades of corporate, government and campaign experience with him to DDCA. Most recently, he served as executive vice president at McBee Strategic, where he was responsible for overseeing domestic and international development, digital strategy and counsel for corporate and government clients.  (Release)

NBCUniversal named Mark Kornblau senior vice president, Communications for the NBCUniversal News Group. Kornblau succeeds Kathy Kelly-Brown who recently was tapped to lead the newly created Global Talent Booking division for NBCUniversal. He will begin February 17. In Kornblau’s new role, he will oversee the communications strategy for the NBCUniversal News Group, partnering with the communicators and business leads at NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC. Kornblau also will be responsible for positioning NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC as premier multi-platform news and information leaders and innovators in the rapidly-changing media landscape. (Release)
