Hill & Knowlton has a new Northwestern GM with the appointment of Christiaan Brown. He comes from Porter Novelli where he managed the HP consumer, SMB and enterprise product launches. He has 12 years of experience working with Northwestern brands. Brown will report to Dan Bartlett, U.S. president and CEO of the firm.

Roy Perez, president and CEO of RMP Strategies in Sacramento has been elected chairman of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. He’s been vice chairman since 2007 and will serve a two-year term in the new position.
