Kara Hendon has been promoted from deputy GM to GM of Fleishman-Hillard’s Kansas City office. Hendon has been with the firm for 13 years, working on product launches, crisis comms, and in other service areas. She has also served as head of the firm’s food and agribusiness division (which was recently expanded to include nutrition legislation) and has been responsible for national and international healthcare programs. The office’s previous GM, Betsey Solberg, is now an executive consultant.
