Roll Call: Edelman, Active Interest Media and Ayzenberg Group

Edelman Toronto welcomes one of Canada’s top executive creative directors, Jordan Doucette. She has worked in advertising for the past 15 years, most recently at TAXI Advertising & Design. Before that, she was with TAXI 2, TAXI Vancouver, Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll, Grey Worldwide and Gee Jeffery & Partners. Jordan’s work has been recognized by many major awards, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, The CLIO Awards, and the CASSIES. Jordan will work in partnership with Robyn Adelson, our executive director, creative strategy. (Release)

Active Interest Media (AIM) announced that Patricia Fox, former senior vice resident and general manager of AIM’s Healthy Living Group, was promoted to executive vice president of Operations. In her new position, Fox will lead AIM’s consumer marketing and audience development, manufacturing and production, newsstand marketing and distribution, international licensing, public relations, and research. AIM has also hired Kim Paulsen as vice president and general manager of AIM’s Healthy Living Group (HLG), and Jason Brown as vice president of Digital Content. (Release)

Ayzenberg Group has made four senior-level additions to the agency’s social media division, augmenting its strategic and real-time creative capabilities. Tomos Evans has joined Ayzenberg as director of social, while Tanner Teale and Kate Beall have joined as art director and social media copywriter, respectively. Under the direction of newly appointed vice president of social Rebecca Markarian, the move expands the collective strategic and creative brainpower of the social team. Evans, with diverse experience working at agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Cake UK and Red Consultancy, will provide strategy and leadership for the growing array of social media clients by managing ongoing social media efforts.
