Burson-Marsteller has hired Jane Madden as managing director, head of Corporate Responsibility. Madden has 25 years of experience as an authority on corporate responsibility strategy; Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) performance; and communications. She is a senior member of the firm's U.S. Corporate and Financial Practice and is based in Chicago. Before joining Burson-Marsteller, Madden served as a partner and the Sustainability Practice Leader at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and as a principal at Mission Measurement. (Release) APCO Worldwide has added Dr. Bruce W. Jentleson, former foreign policy advisor to former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and professor of political science and public policy at Duke University, to its International Advisory Council (IAC). Jentleson will counsel APCO’s clients on international security, U.S. foreign policy and global governance while working closely with APCO’s Raleigh, N.C. office. He is a leading scholar of American foreign policy and has served in a number of U.S. policy and political positions. Most recently, Jentleson was selected as the 15th Henry A. Kissinger Chair in Foreign Policy and International Relations at the Library of Congress Kluge Center. (Release) Cushman & Wakefield has added six new hires to its Valuation & Advisory group. Based in New York, Atlanta and Houston, these new hires will allow C&W to expand its Diligence & Advisory (D&A) practice. Brian Murray and David Risdon join the firm as senior managing directors in the New York and Atlanta office respectively, and will focus on banking and investment advisory work. Larry Lewis joined the firm as managing director in Houston, and together with Sonia Horton and Linda Le, both directors, will focus on diligence and underwriting services for both debt and equity transactions, restructures and recapitalizations. Home Front Communications has hired Wyatt Queener as vice president and director of its Interactive team. Queener has more than 15 years of experience in technology development, digital engagement and strategic planning. Prior to joining Home Front, he was co-director of Interactive for advertising agency RP3. Previous positions also include SVP at agencyQ and interactive technical director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, both in Washington, D.C. (Release) The University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications has named 30-year industry veteran Robert Norberg director of Strategy and Research at The Agency, effective immediately. Norberg, a University of Florida alumni, has been a visiting professional at The Agency since June. Most recently he led Economic and Market Research Associates, a consultancy that advises public and private sector clients on economic and market issues. Previously he served as deputy executive director of Research and Operations at the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC), where he had oversight of the Commission’s Economic and Market Research and Scientific Research Departments.
