Rockstar Releases Classic GTA III for iOS and Android

Rockstar Games has re-released its classic crime and mayhem game Grand Theft Auto III for iOS and Android. Available now on both platforms for $4.99, Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition is an authentic port of the PS2 original, keeping the soundtrack and voice acting, but adding necessary updates like touch and tilt controls.

Grand Theft Auto III became an instant classic upon its release in 2001, making open-world, sandbox style gameplay the new standard for developers and spawning dozens of knockoffs and copycats.
