Robert Allbritton to Host Welcome Party for ABC's Christiane Amanpour
Robert Allbritton, owner of the ABC affiliate WJLA and publisher of Politico, will host the welcome to Washington party for ABC’s Christiane Amanpour, new host of ABC’s “This Week.” The party on September 26 will be held at Allbritton’s home.
It is uncertain at this point whether the party will as exclusive as the private event Allbritton and his wife, Elena, threw at their home on the weekend of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
