RIP, Nam June Paik

This happened two days ago but we just heard about it now. Korean-born video artist Nam June Paik, who did the cars in Rockefeller Center a few years ago, died on January 29th, at the age of 74. He was a member of Fluxus, and pretty much rocked video art before it had turned into a Pipilotti Rist/Mika Rottenberg now-you-see-it-now-you-see-it-again form. We’re a little sad, to be honest.
