On Facebook, Daryl Robinson‘s personal assistant Monique described her suddenly departed boss as warm-hearted:
He was full of light and charisma… He was like a big brother to me.
In Wednesday’s New York Post report about the 50-year-old former Cooking Channel show host being found dead in his Brooklyn apartment, neighbor Mark Holmes said Robinson was fully invested in their Bedford-Stuyvesant community:
“He was a real nice, cool guy. He always donated stuff to the block. We have a big block association.
