The 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, were 500 days away as of March 24, but that doesn’t mean Facebook was quiet.

Felipe Kozlowski, who works on sports partnerships in Latin America for Facebook, wrote in a Facebook Media blog post that the Brazilian Olympic Committee posted 18 exclusive videos with the hashtag #500Dias to the Time Brasil Facebook page.

Brazilian athletes Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa and tennis player Guga Kuerten also used Facebook Mentions, the social network’s application for public figures, to join the conversation, and that post appeared on the Time Brasil page, as well, as did a question-and-answer session with former national volleyball team captain Giovani Gávio.

Brazilian sports networks including Globo Esporte and Esporte Interativo also posted with the #500Dias hashtag, as did global brands such as GE.
