Oh, and speaking of last night’s Connecticut primary, we learn from one informant working in Connecticut that when Ned Lamont was at a Fire Department’s Carnival on Sunday afternoon, he had no idea who CNN’s Candy Crowley was when he was talking to reporters.
“So what’s your name?” asked Lamont. “Who are you with?”
Ned: That’s definitely not a way to get that soft media coverage you’re going to need come November. Then again, Lamont could simply be trying to reinforce that “Washington outsider” image he’s shooting for.
