Say What?! Ricky Gervais Claims Golden Globes Want Him Back as Host
Today, during an interview session at a TV festival in Edinburgh sponsored by The Guardian, comedian Ricky Gervais revealed that he has been invited to return as host of the 2011 Golden Globes. However, he went on to explain that he doesn’t think he will take NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) up on this surprising turnabout offer:
“I love NBC, I love the fact they stuck by me through it,” Gervais said. Asked by interviewer Richard Bacon if he was considering the offer, Gervais replied: “I am but I shouldn’t do it.
