Ricky Bobby Gains Speed
We aren’t really in the habit of randomly touting blockbusters. But, eager to find out if Will Ferrell has shaken off the embarrassment of Bewitched and returned to wonderfully ludicrous form, we checked out the Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby trailer.
Man, here’s a guy that’s developing a better record than Adam Sandler at knowing precisely what people want to see him do. This film, which includes the genius casting of John C. Reilly and secret weapon Sacha Baron Cohen (the studio wisely shows him only briefly in the trailer), could be the summer movie season’s real savior after Pirates 2 when it takes off next month.
