Rick Dunham Pulls Double-duty as Chron Cuts Staff
The Chron’s Rick Dunham is pulling double-duty now. The Wash Bureau Chief for the Houston Chronicle has picked up the same title for Hearst Newspapers.
Dunham tells FBDC, “I hope we can become a model for multimedia regional newspaper coverage in DC during these tough times and beyond.”
When asked if his bureau would be affected by the reported cuts (10% of Chron. staff), Dunham said he does not expect Washington to be hit.
Inquiring Minds? Dunham’s double-duty is not related to the Chron’s looming lay-offs.
