Revolving Door: Dwell Crowns Sam Grawe

More change over at Dwell. But this time, it doesn’t involve outward movement, as in people leaving, but rather, more in the upward direction, as in Sam Grawe, who has been sharing Executive Editor status with Andrew Wagner since Allison Arieff up and left back in August, has officially been elevated to Editor-in-Chief as of late yesterday afternoon. Dexigner has the whole scoop. Here’s some:

Michela O’Connor Abrams, President and Publisher of Dwell LLC, has announced the appointment of Sam Grawe to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Dwell. Mr. Grawe, 29, who has been with the media company since October of 2000, will assume the post effective today.
“There is no more natural a fit than Sam Grawe for the position of Editor-in-Chief,” says O’Connor Abrams. “As one of our founding voices, Sam has an inherent understanding of the Dwell mission, the vitality of our brand platforms, and our goals going forward. He is a bright, thoughtful, and creative editor whose instincts and insights will be fundamental in taking Dwell forward.”
