Reuters' Fred Barbash Back to WaPo
Reuters editor Fred Barbash will return to WaPo to take over their overnight desk, Talking Biz News reports. Barbash held several positions at WaPo from 1974 to 2006, before leaving to work at Politico. He then went to CQ Roll Call, then Reuters, where he has been editing White House and Congressional coverage for the past year. Chris Roush has the story:
Barbash had joined Reuters in May 2012 as editor overseeing domestic policy. His departure is not related to the buyouts that occurred at the Washington bureau of Reuters at the end of 2013 that trimmed its journalism ranks considerably…
