Researchers Stranded In Antarctica Use Twitter, Vine, YouTube To Update The World
Social media is truly more than an entertainment channel and time-waster: a team of 74 researchers stranded in Antarctica have been using Twitter, Vine, YouTube, Google+ and Skype to live-broadcast their situation.
The team’s ship is stuck in thick ice impenetrable by a rescue mission from a Chinese icebreaker.
