Rescue Me Fans' Wait Rescued By Minisodes

The fifth season of the FX series Rescue Me won’t air until next spring, but fans of the firehouse drama are being rewarded for their patience. Sony Pictures Television, which produces the show, and FX are developing 10 five-minute “minisodes” to help make up for the fact that the show was delayed from its usual summertime run due to the writer’s strike.

The standalone, comedic minisodes will air commercial-free on Tuesday nights on FX starting June 24.
