Report: New Kindle Coming in October
CrunchGear is reporting that two Amazon Kindle models will hit stores this holiday season, with the first coming as early as October, according to a source close to the company.
Here’s what we know. According to the report, the first device will be an updated version of the original model. It will have the same size screen, but it will also come with a smaller form factor and an improved interface. The other new model, which is “shaped like an 8 1/2 x 11-inch piece of paper,” will be larger than the current version and will ship before the end of the year.
