Report: Murdoch Looks to Stop Possible 'Daily' Lawsuit

Rupert Murdoch really wants to keep the name of the iPad newspaper his company has thus far barely acknowledged exists.

According to Reuters, News Corp. preemptively asked a U.S. Southern District of New York judge to block company IMG Worldwide from making a trademark claim for the name “The Daily.”

IMG owns a fashion publication called The Daily Front Row. Per Reuters, News Corp. and IMG met earlier this week but were unable to come to any agreement.
