Report: FBI to Investigate News Corp. Hacking
The bureau will reportedly look into allegations about 9/11 victims' phones
The FBI is launching an investigation into allegations that the News of the World hacked into 9/11 victims’ phones, the AP reports.
The AP is sourcing its story to an unnamed law enforcement official. FBI’s New York office, News Corp., and the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan have yet to comment.
Earlier this week, several members of Congress called on officials to investigate the hacking claims against News Corp.
