Reese Witherspoon is getting into the media business with the launch of Hello Sunshine, a digital media company.
This is just what America needs. If the star of Sweet Home Alabama can’t hold future president Donald Trump responsible for his actions, who can?
Hello Sunshine—which will target women—is in collobaration with Otter Media, a company jointly-owned by the Chernin Group and AT&T. Hello Sunshine will produce everything from digital content to movies. Hello-sunshine.com is set to debut next year.
Kerry Tucker, previously COO of The Video Genome Project, will serve as Hello Sunshine’s CEO.
“Reese is a phenomenal partner with a unique sensibility, and together with Kerry, who has championed women’s voices throughout her career, we are excited to launch a company that is anchored in the ambitious vision of reflecting and inspiring women everywhere,” said Otter Media president Sarah Harden, in a statement.
