Redstones Make Peace

The feud between Sumner and Shari Redstone is over. Even though Sumner sent Forbes a letter insulting his daughter less than two weeks ago, it seems like the pair have put their differences aside for now. The two are attempting to iron out a deal amidst the battle for control of Viacom’s empire, post-Sumner:

As it stands now, Sumner and Shari are negotiating a deal in which he would buy out her 20 percent stake in National Amusements, which houses the controlling stakes in Viacom and CBS, in exchange for operating control of the family’s movie theater business.
