RealTalk LA: New Magazine for the Masses from Jay Levin

Jay Levin, founder of the LA Weekly, has a new mag he’s launching in April, if the Craigslist ad is to be believed. RealTalk LA promises to be:

RealTalk LA was born to serve ALL of LA. There is an obvious need for a quality magazine with a multicultural focus and relevant editorial for individuals who want to know and share in the larger community they are inhabiting. These individuals, of all backgrounds, define themselves very differently from the audience of most city publications.

LAObserved has the whole press kit and kaboodle, although you have to wonder at a PR firm that ignores FBLA. Maybe they’re trying to keep this news secret.

Levin’s also a big Trader Joe’s fan, according to his profile. So, he’s got the pulse of the city right off the bat, we’d say.
