Ready to Change the Web? Applications for Knight News Challenge Open Today
Do you have a good idea about how to protect the open web? Strengthen it? Improve on it? The Knight Foundation, in collaboration with the Ford Foundation and Mozilla, is offering $2.75 million in prizes to projects that speak to “strengthening the internet for free expression and innovation” and invites applicants to focus on “journalism, policy, research, and education.”
The contest is open to everyone: non-profits, for-profits, individuals, students. You can find out more here. There’s a virtual meeting on March 4 at 1p.m.
