Jack Griffin is out as CEO of Tribune Publishing. Griffin, who lasted just six months at the head of Time Inc. in his previous position, was pushed out by board chairman Michael Ferro, the man who invested $44.4 million in the company just a few weeks ago. “This is almost Shakespearean,” a source tells Ken Doctor. “The CEO brings in a new shareholder as his ‘partner’ and his ally’s first move is to kick him out.
