Rather To Join Comedy Central's Election Coverage Tonight

The media midterm election is coverage is crackling like hickory fire on a West Texas farm.

With Brian Williams tapping ex-NBC election night staple Tom Brokaw on NBC, Dan Rather, the CBS News expat currently holed up on Mark Cuban‘s HDNet island, will join Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert‘s election coverage on Comedy Central tonight during its Indecision 2006 special at 11 p.m.

“It’s a risk, I guess, but what the hell,” Rather told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
