TechCrunch reported that Qwitter — a service that emails Twitter users to alert them when other Twitter users have stopped following them, as well as guessing at the possible offending tweet — resurfaced again after not being active since Dec. 1, 2008.
Under the homepage headline, “Welcome to the New and Improved Qwitter!,” the site says:
We’re back! How could we possibly quit catching QWITTERS?!? Fear not…notification emails have returned, giving us all something to look forward to during the day!
What will help you forget about the pain of being QWIT? Smoother operation and a new line of premium services will be available soon to help you get your message to the masses.
