Quote of the Day: Greenwald Coming Back to US
In an interview with Huff Post Live’s Alyona Minkovski today, Glenn Greenwald swore that he would come back to the United States, Polk Award in hand, whether or not he faced legal challenges over his role in the NSA leak stories:
“I’m going to force the issue just on principle, and I think coming back for a ceremony like the Polk Award or other forms of journalistic awards would be a really good symbolic test. We’re still figuring out exactly how we’re going to do it and when, but there’s no question we’re going to come back to the US and test the First Amendment.”
