QuizUp developer Plain Vanilla secures $2 million in Series A1 funding
Mobile developer Plain Vanilla has today announced it has closed a $2 million Series A1 funding round, led by Sequoia Capital and e.Ventures. The company’s mobile trivia game QuizUp launched earlier this month to quick success, with over 1.5 million registered users trying the game.
Over 70 million games have been played in QuizUp, which asks players to answer trivia questions in over 250 categories, ranging from movies and sports to the arts.
