QuickPlay To Offer Whole TV Shows on BlackBerry
QuickPlay Media is bringing full-length TV shows to some BlackBerry users starting next month. A subscription service, PrimeTime2Go will let BlackBerry users download and watch full-length episodes of such primetime hits as NBC’s The Office, CBS’s CSI, MTV’s The Hills and The CW’s 90210.
Initially available for the BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900 smartphones in the US, PrimeTime2Go will download content in the background over Wi-Fi, so downloading doesn’t impact the user’s data plan. The service is set to debut on the BlackBerry App World storefront in early May.
