- Harish Menon has joined as desk editor for Quartz’s Mumbai bureau. He most recently worked for the Times of India.
- Jill Petzinger has been named a reporter for Quartz’s iPhone app and the Daily Brief. She’ll be based in Berlin. Petzinger most recently served as an editor for Handelsblatt Global.
- Michelle Phung has joined as a web applications developer. She was most recently a software engineer at IBM Cloudant.
