Quad-core Android Phones? I'm Still Waiting for Mere Dual-Core Powered Phones
I’ve been patiently waiting for dual-core phones since learning about them in mid-August.
Qualcomm Snapdragon Single Core 2GHz & Dual-Core 1.5GHz Processors in Phones by Year-end?
As we head to the end of 2010, it looks like mere dual-core powered phones may not be worth waiting for after all.
Quad-core processors coming to Android devices in the near future (AndroidAndMe.com)
No date (firm or otherwise) is associated with the availability of these quad-core processors for mobile devices. However, since dual-core phones have not made an appearance yet, my guess is the earliest appearance of quad-core (battery guzzling?) processors won’t appear until the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012 at the earliest.
