Facebook is testing a way for people to login to the social network via QR codes.
Social media consultant Sreedev Sharma shared the screenshots above and below with Social Pro Daily, saying that users must already be logged into Facebook’s mobile application, and they can use the app’s QR code scanner or other QR code readers.
A Facebook spokesperson confirmed to Social Pro Daily that the feature is being tested “in select countries” and the test is expected to run for a few more weeks.
The social network began tinkering with login via QR codes as early as 2010 in Japan.
