Qik Video Sharing App Announced for Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Tablet

There was some speculation that Samsung’s eagerly awaited Android-based Galaxy Tab 7-inch display tablet would be available last week. There was a launch event for it last week in New York City. However, the Tab is still not available. In fact, Samsung still hasn’t provided any pricing information for its product.

While the Tab itself is not available yet, Qik announced support for it during the launch event.

The Qik has both a front facing camera (for video conferencing) and a higher resolution 3-megapixel rear facing camera.
