Puma, UEFA Kick It Up with Mobile Campaign

Puma has kicked off a mobile marketing campaign for the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) 2008 games in 13 countries.

MediaPost reports that once a soccer fan signs up and downloads a ringtone of a team’s song or chants, the ringtone will sound each time the team scores. Also, the system is set up to let the user connect with up to 10 pre-defined friends in a free teleconference to chat about the goal.

Fans in the UK, Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland can participate.
