'Protesters' Hand Out Cookies in Times Square

This angry mob rather tame looking group gathered in Times Square today to drum up some buzz for the new USA program Fairly Legal, which premieres tomorrow night. These “rallies for mediation” are happening today and tomorrow in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Philadelphia in addition to NYC.

Besides waving signs to promote the show, the protesters handed out cards promoting a sweepstakes and 60,000 custom-made cookies. The contest is tied to a charitable donation to Peace First, an organization that encourages kids to talk out their problems.
