Protagonize Counts 10,000 Authors
A community-oriented writing site with a shoe-string budget counted 10,000 authors last Friday, doubling in size in six months.
Protagonize is a site where members create Choose-Your-Own-Adventure-style fiction and build interactive stories. Earlier this year, it was one of the five finalists in the Community category. Founder Nick Bouton recorded the milestone in a post this afternoon. As digital reading grows in popularity, these community sites will be training grounds for the next generation of digital book authors.
