Promotions at Politico
Blake Hounshell is named EIC of Politico Magazine. Stephen Heuser is editorial director of ideas and features.
Politico editor Carrie Budoff Brown and editor in chief John Harris announced some changes today.
Editorial director Blake Hounshell has been named editor in chief of Politico Magazine, “which he helped found in 2013 along with Susan Glasser,” write Brown and Harris. Hounshell will still provide input on Politico as a whole, where “he’ll continue to advise Carrie and Paul on the overall growth and direction of POLITICO.com, which he helped shepherd through a major redesign, a CMS overhaul and the launch of many smaller projects along the way.
