Be A Part Of Project Midnight 2012: An Annual Crowdsourced New Years Eve Video

This New Years Eve when the clock strikes midnight, snap a picture of yourself and submit it to Project Midnight to be part of the biggest crowd sourced New Years Eve project in history.

This New Years Eve when the clock strikes midnight, snap a picture of yourself and submit it to Project Midnight to be part of what will hopefully be the biggest crowd sourced New Years Eve project in history.

Project Midnight asks, “What if you could share midnight with everyone you knew?  And a few people you didn’t.”  Creator Mary Matthews explains, “I asked family, friends and total strangers to send me pictures of their midnight New Year’s Eve.  This is Project Midnight: An annual crowdsourced video of midnights from around the world and across the Internet.”

Mary started the project back in 2009 and is revving up for the fourth annual edition—a roundup of people celebrating New Years at midnight 2012, and you can be a part of it!  Snap a picture of yourself, your friends, your family and loved ones at midnight on NYE and submit it by email to mcmpress[at]gmail.com by 5PM (we’re going to assume EST) on New Years Day, January 1, 2012.  Don’t forget to include the location where the picture was shot.

You can check out the videos from previous Project Midnights at projectmidnightvideo.blogspot.com and check out the video promo for Project Midnight 4 below.  Spread the word about this project and don’t forget your camera on Saturday night!  Happy New Year!
