PR FAIL: MA Transit Officials Apologize for Fire/Smoke Drill at Logan Airport on 9/11

Being that I live in Massachusetts, this was the first story I saw on my local news channel this afternoon, prompting me to pop back up out of the chair I had just flopped into and exclaim, “you have got to be f*cking’ kidding me!”

Today, on the 12th anniversary of Sept. 11, officials at Boston’s Logan International Airport gave the green light for a fire drill that included flames and thick black smoke. Keep in mind, two of the planes used in the 2001 terrorist attacks took off from Logan.
