Potential Buyers Less Interested in iPad Since Announcement

Did Apple’s iPad unveiling, after all the months of hype, backfire? It looks like it may have, at least according to a report released at the end of last week by the Retrevo electronics marketplace blog.

As you can see from the chart above, 26% of the 1,000 Retrevo users polled before the announcement had heard about the tablet but were not interested in buying one, and that number grew to 52& after the announcement, indicating that they were not impressed with what they saw.
