Posterous Adds Twitter Media Sharing to Post.ly

Our little Post.ly is growing up: Parent company Posterous announced that it transformed the service from a custom-branded URL for blog posts on its platform to a Twitter media-sharing service, TechCrunch reported.

Posterous users can send tweets via Post.ly and add media files including photos, videos, music and documents, according to TechCrunch, which adds that the microblogging service’s signature 140-character limit can be skirted by posting an unlimited amount of text on a Posterous blog and distributing it to Twitter streams.
