Post Getting Set To Unveil Combined Style & Arts Section

The Washington Post has decided to merge their Style & Arts section on the weekends and you’ll see the changes on August 26. “Remember: The section will emphasize culture — arts and entertainment, as well as the beliefs and behaviors that define us at this moment in time,” writes Deb Heard in an internal memo to Posties. “It will be a fat section that combines virtually all of the space currently in Style and Arts. And, it will have a much more prominent position in the paper — wrapping the bundle that includes Sunday Source, Travel and Book World. But most importantly, it will be fresh and fabulous.” This also means that the “Reliable Source” will no longer publish on Sundays and will move to a Monday – Friday schedule.
