Post 'Chimp' Outcry
As we pointed out, last Thursday’s New York Post chimp cover was an instant classic. But, unlike other classic artists, the Post reveled its part in the story, pointing out on Friday that it’s cover had made D.C. politicians go “ape.”
As CJR Daily points out, it’s proof of an “ape” reaction was a quote from Rick Santorum — “honestly” — and mentions on News Corp.-owned Fox News.
