POLITICO Pro Announces Several New Hires, Moves and Promotions

POLITICO Pro editor Martin Kady today announced to staff in an email several new hires, moves and promotions within the POLITICO Pro division, which now includes 13 policy verticals.

New hires include Mary Beth Marklein, a former higher education reporter for USA TODAY, as Pro Education editor; Chase Purdy as a reporter for Pro Agriculture; Jen Judson who joined Pro Defense on July 14; and Patrick Temple-West, who joins the Financial Services team.

In new roles are Maggie Chan as senior pro editor and Kyle Cheney, transitioning to the Campaign Pro team from the health care team.
